You can practically get a mini-tour of San Diego’s Chicano Park by doing a Google Image Search. But we have a few pics in our personal archives that we didn’t see on the front page there. It’s an interesting public space, on the San Diego side of the bridge that spans the bay to Coronado Island. Artists have decorated the support structures under the bridge and various walls nearby. A small playground and a handball court, along with the art, transform an otherwise uninviting urban space into a cultural landmark.
