Lee, Kirby, Ditko and the gang cranked stories out so quickly and furiously in the 1960s that proofreading sometimes got tossed to the side – as in the classic “Peter Palmer” mistakes. A back-up story in X-Men #40 had Cyberno as a prototype for Cerebro.
